郁庆明,江苏省连云港市人,我校1983届高中毕业生,1987年南京大学生物化学系本科毕业,1990年,取得上海生物制品研究所硕士学位,1999年取得中科院上海细胞生物学研究所博士学位。现为南京瓦尔生物医药有限公司董事长、总经理。
1990年—1995年就职于上海生物制品研究所,担任课题负责人;1999年—2002年,上海生物制品研究所,硕士生导师,副教授,分子生物学和细胞生物学研究室主任;2002年—2005年,美国麻州大学医学院,博士后;2005年—2010年,美国哈佛大学医学院麻省总医院 博士后,2009年升为讲师(Instructor);2009年,入选无锡市530人才计划,创立了江阴晶辉生物技术服务有限公司,担任董事长和总经理;2010年,创立NovaBio Scientific Inc. USA担任董事长和总经理,成功开发多种产品,主要是蛋白质亲和层析介质,质量相似于或超过国外品牌公司产品。开发成功多种用生物技术制备手性医药中间体技术,并已申请多项专利。2013年,入选南京321人才计划,创立了南京瓦尔生物医药有限公司,担任董事长和总经理。(注:无锡530和南京321人才计划,是地方政府为引进海外创业创新人才设定的人才计划项目,创业项目除得到得到政府无偿的现金支助外,创立的企业还可享受多项优惠政策。)
郁先生勤奋好学,始终站在专业研究的前沿,学术成就斐然,获得众多荣誉和奖项。
1993年,获得卫生部青年基金,A蛋白融合表达系统的研究课题负责人;2000年上海生化和分子生物学协会理事;2004年获得美国麻州大学主任基金,tau gene mRNA在老年痴呆症的错误拼接分子病理机制的研究;2005年获得美国国立卫生院博士后基金,用斑马鱼作为模式生物研究Cloche基因调控血液和血管早期发育的影响。
